This movement is called a “V Step” as you will be forming a V as you step up and down. The V Step right has you starting with your right foot and is completed in a 4-step movement. While a fitness step is technically not necessary to complete a V Step, a fitness step with or without risers, will increase the intensity of the movement.


Right leg up, as wide as possible.

Left leg up, as wide as possible.

Right leg back to the floor.

Left leg back to the floor.
