Total Daily Energy Expenditure

Utilizing the Harris-Benedict Formula, your basal metabolic rate is calculated using your body weight, height, and your age.  Then multiplying your BMR by your activity level, the total amount of caloric intake to maintain your current weight is calculated.

The formulas used for this calculator are:
Men: BMR = 66 + (13.7 x wt in kg) + (5 x ht in cm) - (6.8 x age in years)
Women: BMR = 655 + (9.6 x wt in kg) + (1.8 x ht in cm) - (4.7 x age in years)

TDEE = BMR x Activity Factor
